Primary Teacher (English National Curriculum) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join its Abu Dhabi campus for the 2026/2027 academic year. The successful candidate will deliver the English National Curriculum, support student progress, and contribute to a collaborative school community.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement department policies that reflect the school’s vision and high standards.
• Plan, monitor and evaluate short‑, medium‑ and long‑term departmental goals.
• Use data to identify under‑achieving students and create targeted intervention plans.
• Design and regularly review schemes of work for all year groups, including provisions for SEN/POD, G&T and EAL learners.
• Ensure curriculum continuity, progression and coverage for all ability levels.
• Lead and evaluate teaching quality within the department, driving continuous improvement.
• Contribute to the school’s CAS programme and after‑school revision sessions.
• Manage departmental resources, budgets and staff deployment in line with school policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum three years of teaching experience, preferably with the UK curriculum.
• Proven track record of raising standards and closing learning gaps.
• Demonstrated leadership experience at various levels.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and align with the school’s core values and regional ethos.
