Primary Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to deliver the required curriculum and foster a supportive learning environment for young learners. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and collaborating with parents and the wider school community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver quality lessons that motivate students and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, assessment data and teaching resources.
• Assess, record and report on student academic development, using assessment data to inform instruction.
• Utilise media and technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Communicate regularly with parents, Ministry of Education officials and community members, promoting the school’s philosophy and values.
• Participate in professional development, appraisal procedures and collaborative material development.
• Monitor student behaviour, promote self‑discipline and support a safe classroom environment.

Required profile

• Relevant teaching qualification and experience in primary education.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies for ESL learners, late‑entering students, gifted and talented pupils, and those with low academic ability.
• Strong organisational skills for lesson planning, record‑keeping and reporting.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative work.
