About the role

The Aquila School is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join our community in August 2026. You will be responsible for delivering engaging, high‑quality lessons that inspire every pupil to achieve their full potential.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well‑being of children at all times.
• Plan, prepare and deliver creative, engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum.
• Lead CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) activities and contribute to staff training.
• Communicate effectively with families and the wider school community.
• Participate in performance management for yourself and colleagues.
• Support school marketing and community outreach initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with school policies and safeguarding procedures.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching and learning across the school.

Required profile

• Credible teaching experience across primary education.
• Ability to design and deliver lessons that are engaging and relevant.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with pupils, parents and staff.
• Initiative, flexibility, a proactive attitude and a positive outlook.
