Primary Teacher - UK Curriculum

About the role

The School of Research Science, an established international school in Dubai, UAE, is looking for a full-time, on-site Primary Teacher who follows the UK curriculum. The teacher plans, delivers and assesses engaging lessons for primary-age learners in a supportive, well-resourced setting.

Key responsibilities

• Differentiate instruction to meet varied learning needs
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress through regular assessments and reporting
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning
• Contribute to school events and extracurricular activities
• Communicate with parents and guardians about student learning
• Take part in ongoing professional development and follow school policies and safeguarding standards

Required profile

• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g. B.Ed., PGCE or equivalent) and a relevant primary teaching license or certification
• Previous experience teaching the UK curriculum in a primary school, preferably in an international or multicultural environment
• Proficiency in English at a professional teaching level; additional languages are an advantage
• Commitment to inclusive education, child safeguarding and continuous professional development
