Principal Consultant - Tech Recruitment

About the role

A growing tech recruitment company is looking for a Principal Consultant who will own their desk and take a direct hand in building the business. You will work with leading names in crypto, AI and tech, from exchanges and blockchain protocols to frontier AI labs, with the autonomy to build your own client base.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with the Director and the Head of Crypto to shape desk strategy, set targets and drive growth.
• Act as a 360 or 180 recruiter: managing the full cycle from business development through to placement, or focusing on the candidate side while supporting client delivery.
• Build and manage your own client portfolio across crypto, AI and tech, and grow existing accounts.
• Lead candidate and contractor mapping across key hubs, including the US, MENA and Europe.
• Advise clients on international hiring, including contractor and employer-of-record options.
• Drive business development, negotiations and account growth, including expansion into new markets.
• Partner with C-suite executives.

Required profile

• Proven experience recruiting in crypto, AI or tech with more than 3 years.
• Experience working on a 360 or 180 desk.
• A strong track record of billings and of growing client relationships with measurable results.
• Ability to win and develop accounts from a standing start, or to fill roles from day one.
