Principal Security Engineer

About the role

Synechron is seeking a Principal Security Engineer to lead cybersecurity initiatives for its banking clients in Abu Dhabi. This senior position requires over a decade of experience designing and implementing robust security solutions for critical financial platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in cybersecurity engineering and design advanced security architectures for banking platforms.
• Lead the implementation of security solutions such as encryption, identity management, and threat detection systems.
• Guide security teams on best practices, remediation strategies, and compliance with client security standards.
• Ensure all projects meet risk‑mitigation and regulatory frameworks.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, preferably within the banking sector.
• Relevant certifications: CISSP (required) and OSCP (preferred).
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and drive security initiatives.
