Private Chef (Tagalog Speaking) for Omani Family

About the role

Apt Resources is looking for an experienced private chef who speaks Tagalog to join an Omani family in Oman. The chef will be responsible for daily meal preparation, menu planning and maintaining high standards of hygiene in a private household.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals according to the family’s preferences and dietary requirements.
• Plan menus, recommend dishes and ensure a variety of cuisines are offered.
• Maintain food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness and food safety at all times.
• Manage kitchen supplies, monitor ingredient availability and prepare shopping lists.
• Handle proper storage, preservation and handling of food items.
• Coordinate meal preparation schedules with the family or household staff.
• Work either live‑in or live‑out, maintaining discretion and professionalism.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a private chef, household chef or personal cook.
• Proven ability to prepare a wide range of meals and cuisines to a high standard.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.
• Ability to plan menus, manage ingredients efficiently and accommodate special dietary needs.
• Trustworthy, discreet and professional attitude with the ability to work independently.
