Private Groundkeeper for 5‑Star Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Private Groundkeeper will ensure the outdoor areas of a prestigious 5‑star hotel on the Red Sea are immaculate, safe and welcoming for guests. This full‑time, onsite position involves daily maintenance of lawns, gardens, walkways and other exterior features, supporting the hotel’s high standards of appearance and service.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain lawns, flower beds, shrubs and trees to a pristine condition.
• Operate and service landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
• Conduct regular inspections of grounds and report any issues.
• Keep walkways, paths and outdoor spaces clean, free of debris and safe for guests.
• Implement seasonal planting, watering, fertilising and pest‑control programmes.
• Coordinate activities with the hotel maintenance and landscaping teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a groundkeeper, landscaper or gardener, preferably in luxury hotels or high‑end properties.
• Knowledge of lawn care, planting, irrigation and pest‑control techniques.
• Physical fitness to perform outdoor manual labour in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be currently residing in the UAE.
