Private Markets Associate

About the role

We are partnering with a leading investment platform to hire a Private Markets Associate. The role offers exposure to the full investment lifecycle across a diversified portfolio of private market opportunities, working closely with senior investment professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, valuation and investment modelling for prospective opportunities.
• Support commercial, operational and financial due diligence processes.
• Prepare investment committee materials, presentations and memorandums.
• Assist in transaction execution and coordinate with advisors, management teams and external stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio company performance and produce periodic reporting and analysis.
• Undertake market research across sectors, industries and investment themes.
• Support relationship management with investors, co‑investors, fund managers and strategic partners.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years of experience in private equity, private credit, infrastructure, real assets, investment banking, transaction services, consulting or a related investment environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA, CAIA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent are advantageous.
• Demonstrated interest in private markets investing.
