Procurement Assistant – Interior Fit-Out

About the role

Black Pearl Consult is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Procurement Assistant to support its procurement team in managing sourcing, documentation, supplier coordination and order tracking for interior fit-out projects. The role suits candidates with experience in fit-out or construction procurement who want to grow their career in procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in reviewing project drawings, BOQs and material requirements
• Help prepare and send RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors, and collect and organise quotations for review and comparison
• Prepare comparative statements and procurement reports, and coordinate with suppliers on quotations, delivery timelines and documentation
• Prepare purchase orders (LPOs) and help with subcontract documentation
• Track material deliveries and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain and update the supplier database and procurement records
• Coordinate with project and site teams on material needs and delivery schedules, and monitor order status
• Ensure procurement documentation is properly filed and organised, and help resolve delivery or supplier issues

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or a related field
• 1-3 years of procurement or procurement support experience in interior fit-out or construction in the UAE; experience with fit-out contractors or construction companies is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of interior fit-out materials such as joinery, gypsum, flooring, glass, finishes and MEP-related items
• Good communication, coordination, attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, and willingness to learn and grow in procurement and supply chain functions

Required skills

• Familiarity with procurement processes, RFQs and LPOs
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office applications
