Procurement Contract Specialist

About the role

POWERTECH is seeking a Procurement & Contracts Specialist to support its aerospace propulsion development and manufacturing programs. You will be responsible for sourcing technical materials, managing supplier relationships, and administering contracts to ensure timely delivery and compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of aerospace engine components, precision‑machined parts, tooling, raw materials, and engineering services.
• Prepare and manage RFQs, purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program teams on technical procurement requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery status, and procurement risks.
• Support supplier qualification and compliance activities.
• Maintain procurement records and reporting within ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, export control, and aerospace quality standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–8 years of procurement or contracts experience in aerospace, defense, aviation, or advanced manufacturing.
• Experience working in engineering‑driven environments is preferred.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of procurement and contract management.
• Hands‑on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes and technical documentation.
• Advanced MS Excel reporting capabilities.
• Commercial negotiation and supplier management expertise.
