Procurement Controller – Cabin & IFE (Procurement & Retrofits)

About the role

As Procurement Controller you will manage the purchasing of aircraft spares, buyer‑furnished equipment (BFE), tools, consumables and retrofit materials for Emirates Engineering’s cabin and IFE programmes. The role ensures timely sourcing, ordering and delivery to support aircraft dispatch reliability and the execution of major retrofits.

Key responsibilities

• Perform workload analysis and recommend resource optimisation.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and vendors, acting as first escalation point.
• Source, purchase and borrow assigned items in line with procurement policy and authority limits.
• Authorize purchase orders within financial limits and obtain approvals for higher values.
• Monitor overdue orders, backlogs and vendor performance against KPIs, implementing corrective actions.
• Lead price and lead‑time reviews with the Contracts Management Unit and challenge contract variances.
• Ensure timely invoice clearance and resolve stores discrepancies.
• Oversee BFE and major retrofit ordering, budget approvals and on‑dock delivery scheduling.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in aviation supply chain or MRO.
• At least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Degree or Honours (12+3) or equivalent A‑level education with additional experience.
• Strong knowledge of inventory systems, material planning and purchasing principles.

Required skills

• Familiarity with aircraft systems, maintenance philosophies and related procedures.
• Understanding of Boeing Product Support and Assurance Agreements (PSAA) and Airbus Supplier Support Conditions (SSC).
