Procurement Engineer

About the role

The Procurement Engineer will lead supplier sourcing and market analysis activities, focusing on international suppliers. You will act as the main liaison between the company and external vendors to secure competitive quotations and ensure compliance with procurement standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify potential international suppliers.
• Lead supplier engagement, approach new vendors, and maintain ongoing communication.
• Prepare and issue Request for Quotations (RFQs) and follow up for quotations, clarifications, and negotiations.
• Analyze and evaluate quotations, maintaining accurate procurement records.
• Collect and review supporting documents such as supplier declarations, certificates of origin, and company information.
• Perform basic supplier due‑diligence, including company verification and registration checks.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support procurement activities and maintain the supplier database.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• 2–5 years of experience in procurement or a related discipline.
• Strong communication, organizational, and administrative abilities.
