About the role
CSCEC Middle East is seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer to join its Procurement Team. The role involves managing the procurement process for construction materials and subcontract works, ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Study material and subcontract requirements, prepare RFQs and enquiry packages with specifications, drawings and BOQ.
- Invite qualified bidders, evaluate quotations for compliance, negotiate commercial terms and prepare technical and price evaluation reports.
- Review technical data from successful bidders, coordinate technical submittals with the project team, and prepare contract agreements.
- Follow up on bank guarantees, monitor market prices, and report procurement status to the team leader.
Required profile
- Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of relevant procurement experience in construction.
Required skills
- Procurement process management.
- Technical evaluation of quotations.
- RFQ preparation and bid invitation.
- Negotiation and contract agreement drafting.
- Market price analysis.
