Procurement Expert

About the role

The Procurement Expert will coordinate across Sourcing, Contracts, and Vendor Management to ensure timely completion of procurement activities and maintain clear oversight of all related processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow up on sourcing, tendering, contract preparation, execution, renewal, and supplier onboarding activities.
• Maintain updated procurement trackers, action logs, and weekly consolidated status reports for the Head of Procurement.
• Identify and report operational bottlenecks, compliance gaps, and risks, coordinating resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• Support audit requirements, governance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance or related field.
• Professional certification such as CIPS is an advantage.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Relevant experience in procurement operations, coordinating multiple workstreams, and preparing management reports.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and e‑procurement platforms.
• Experience with reporting tools and procurement dashboards.
