Procurement Intern

About the role

The Procurement Intern supports the procurement team in sourcing, vendor management and day-to-day purchasing activities. The role offers hands-on experience in supply chain operations, negotiation and compliance with company procurement policies. It is a paid internship in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential suppliers.
• Support the preparation of Request for Quotation (RFQ) and Request for Proposal (RFP) documents.
• Collect and analyse supplier quotations to support decision-making.
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts and supplier databases.
• Monitor delivery schedules and follow up with vendors to ensure timely receipt of goods and services.
• Support cost analysis and reporting for procurement activities.
• Collaborate with finance, operations and logistics teams to keep procurement processes running smoothly.
• Assist in compliance checks with procurement policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team.
• Chinese or Mandarin speaker.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Understanding of ERP systems and procurement software.
