Procurement Manager for Major Offshore Project

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead and manage procurement activities for a major ADNOC Offshore project, ensuring materials, equipment and services are procured in line with project requirements, schedules and budgets. The role provides procurement leadership within the PMC team and works closely with ADNOC Offshore, EPC contractors, engineering teams, vendors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall procurement activities throughout project execution.
• Develop and oversee implementation of project procurement strategies and plans.
• Monitor EPC contractor procurement activities for alignment with project requirements and contractual obligations.
• Manage strategic sourcing and support contractor/vendor selection.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and contractual requirements.
• Review procurement plans, RFQs/RFPs, commercial evaluations and purchase orders.
• Coordinate with engineering and project management to address technical requirements and priorities.
• Monitor status of critical equipment and materials, identifying schedule risks.
• Support vendor evaluation, selection and performance monitoring.
• Facilitate procurement interfaces between ADNOC, EPC contractors and suppliers.
• Support commercial and contractual negotiations with vendors.
• Maintain alignment of procurement activities with project budget.
• Escalate potential delays for long‑lead items.
• Collaborate with contracts, project controls, expediting, inspection, logistics and construction functions.
• Provide progress updates and highlight critical issues to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• Extensive procurement and supply chain experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or Lead on major EPC/PMC projects, especially offshore.
• Previous work on ADNOC or ADNOC Offshore projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, commercial awareness and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
