Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager will lead the development and execution of the company's sourcing strategies, ensuring value‑for‑money outcomes that meet stakeholder expectations. This role oversees the full procurement lifecycle, from planning and tendering to contract management and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement annual procurement plans aligned with company projects, assets, and departmental needs.
• Enhance procurement processes through vendor database management, policy reviews, and the use of procurement software and automation tools.
• Lead complex negotiations and high‑impact supply arrangements to achieve optimal cost‑benefit results.
• Provide expert advice to stakeholders, promote innovative procurement practices, and support business and policy objectives.
• Manage end‑to‑end tendering, award, and contract administration, including drafting tender documents, coordinating clarifications, evaluating submissions, and preparing recommendation reports.
• Structure contract terms, milestones, insurance, bonding, and schedules to protect company interests and mitigate risk.
• Monitor compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure all parties adhere to agreed terms.
• Prepare regular status reports for senior management, highlighting issues, risks, opportunities, and overall procurement progress.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, and contract negotiation.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tender processes and supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills for strategy development and performance reporting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
