Procurement Manager

About the role

The Procurement Manager leads end‑to‑end sourcing activities for an airline, covering operational, commercial and corporate needs. The role ensures compliance with governance, cost‑control frameworks and aviation standards while driving supplier performance and cross‑functional alignment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies for categories such as ground handling, catering, inflight products and logistics.
• Conduct market research, price comparisons and use competitive sourcing methods (RFP, RFQ) in line with governance policies.
• Collaborate with Legal and Finance on contracts, track renewals and manage renegotiations to avoid service disruptions.
• Maintain vendor compliance through SLAs, KPIs and regular performance monitoring.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, evaluate offers, validate financial documentation and support cost‑saving initiatives.
• Manage sourcing for crew uniforms and logistics lifecycle, coordinate with internal teams and prepare monthly procurement reports.
• Participate in audits, standardize procurement practices and keep documentation organized.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Aviation Management or related field.
• 5‑7 years of procurement experience, preferably in aviation, hospitality or supply‑chain‑intensive environments.
• Strong knowledge of contracting, negotiation, logistics and procurement governance.
• Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and categories across fast‑paced, multi‑station settings.
• Excellent analytical, financial and commercial evaluation capabilities.
