Procurement Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Procurement Manager to lead and optimise our purchasing activities, ensuring quality, cost efficiency and timely delivery in line with business needs. The role will shape procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships and support overall supply‑chain objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business requirements.
• Oversee sourcing and purchasing processes for materials, equipment and services.
• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, capacity and reliability.
• Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to achieve best value.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure consistent quality and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineering, project, finance, operations and other functions to define requirements and procurement plans.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement in procurement processes.
• Manage procurement risks, maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong understanding of sourcing, purchasing, supplier management and contract negotiation.
• Ability to assess suppliers on quality, cost, delivery, capacity and overall commercial value.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and decision‑making skills.
• Proven capability to develop procurement strategies and translate business needs into effective purchasing plans.
• Good knowledge of commercial terms, contracts, pricing structures and risk management.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach with high integrity and accountability.
