Procurement Officer – Fit‑out & Joinery Projects

About the role

Royal Joinery is seeking a Procurement Officer to support its high‑profile MEP, interior fit‑out, and joinery projects. The role focuses on strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship building to ensure timely delivery of quality materials while maximising cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing and managing procurement arrangements aligned with project goals.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies that meet financial objectives.
• Research, evaluate and select suppliers to build a reliable supply chain.
• Negotiate and manage contracts to secure optimal pricing, terms and conditions.
• Oversee the full procurement lifecycle from purchase order to delivery.
• Foster strong supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to identify opportunities.
• Manage inventory levels, forecast material requirements and optimise resource allocation.
• Coordinate logistics to minimise delays and disruptions.
• Prepare and analyse procurement reports for decision‑making and cost‑saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, budget guidelines and procurement regulations.
• Provide procurement expertise to project teams and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Material Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in the joinery or interior fit‑out industry within the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, MEP and interior fit‑out materials, suppliers and market trends in the UAE.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship‑management abilities.
• Proficiency in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Knowledge of UAE procurement laws and industry regulations.
