Procurement Officer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and proactive Procurement Officer to lead purchasing activities, coordinate with suppliers, and support inventory management. The role ensures that all materials and services are procured cost‑effectively, on time, and in line with company policies and industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source suppliers and obtain quotations for required materials and services.
• Compare prices, quality, and delivery schedules to secure the best value.
• Prepare purchase orders and manage the approval workflow.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory control processes.
• Coordinate deliveries, payments, and order status with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
• Verify that purchased items meet company specifications and quality standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and continuous improvement of procurement processes.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align purchasing requirements and timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong verbal, negotiation, and written communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
