Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing the end‑to‑end sourcing, tendering and contract administration processes for the organization. This role ensures that all purchase requisitions, service requests and work orders are processed efficiently and in compliance with internal procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, validate and initiate sourcing for purchase requisitions, service requests and work orders via platforms such as Yardi.
• Generate competitive proposals for non‑contractual work orders and standard corporate procurement needs.
• Manage tender documentation, including RFPs, invitations to tender, scope of work and contract formats.
• Coordinate the full tendering cycle, from bidder pre‑qualification to bid submission and contract award recommendation.
• Conduct negotiations with selected bidders to secure optimal price, quality, delivery and risk terms.
• Oversee technical and commercial evaluation, obtain necessary approvals according to the Delegation of Authority matrix, and prepare award recommendation memoranda.
• Create and approve service contracts, purchase orders, job contracts and manage contract lifecycle activities such as extensions, renewals and terminations.
• Coordinate invoice receipt against approved purchase orders and ensure timely financial closure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, tender management and contract administration.
• Strong understanding of corporate procurement procedures and delegation of authority guidelines.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple work orders and contracts simultaneously while maintaining compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Yardi procurement platform.
