Procurement Officer

About the role

The Procurement Officer will lead the sourcing and purchasing activities for interior fit‑out and construction projects in Dubai. You will work closely with project teams to ensure the right materials, equipment and subcontractors are secured on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E) and subcontractor services for fit‑out projects.
• Obtain, analyse and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms and contracts to achieve cost savings.
• Issue purchase orders, monitor deliveries and verify invoices against orders.
• Maintain supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews and onboard new vendors.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Design Teams and Site Engineers to align procurement schedules with project timelines.
• Track procurement costs, report variances and support budget preparation.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate logistics and minimise material wastage.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of procurement experience in interior fit‑out, construction or design‑and‑build environments.
• Proven track record of sourcing fit‑out materials, MEP supplies and managing subcontractor services.
• Experience working in the UAE/GCC market is preferred.

• Knowledge of fit‑out materials, MEP supplies and FF&E procurement.
• Ability to control costs, prepare budgets and analyse market price trends.
• Familiarity with procurement documentation, contracts and audit processes.
• Effective coordination with cross‑functional project teams.
