Procurement Officer – National Development

About the role

The Procurement Officer – National Development will manage the end‑to‑end procurement cycle for flydubai, ensuring that goods and services are sourced cost‑effectively, on time and in full compliance with company and government regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare RFPs, RFQs and invitation to bid/tender letters, coordinating advertisements and stakeholder input.
• Handle all contract documentation, ensuring actions comply with flydubai and government regulations.
• Conduct contract lifecycle management, including vendor performance tracking, amendments, renewals and extensions.
• Negotiate with vendors to improve service offerings, reduce fees and shorten project durations.
• Coordinate full evaluation of shortlisted proposals with relevant stakeholders.
• Prepare award documentation such as purchase orders and signed contracts to avoid project delays.
• Maintain and expand the approved vendor list and enhance Supplier Relationship Management.
• Oversee pre‑qualification of potential vendors, reviewing licenses, financial statements and other required documents.
• Analyse spend data and produce reports on key performance indicators and savings.
• Deliver training on approved procurement systems and processes to end users.
• Maintain accurate records for all stages of the procurement cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of relevant procurement experience (or 0‑2 years with strong academic background).
• Fluency in English and Arabic.
• Professional procurement or supply‑chain certification (CIPS preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with procurement‑related ERP systems.
