Procurement Officer (Technology)

About the role

A leading Dubai-based technology company providing IT solutions and services to businesses across the region is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Officer. The role covers sourcing and procuring IT hardware, software and accessories, working with vendors and coordinating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure IT hardware, software and accessories based on business needs.
• Contact and coordinate with authorized vendors, distributors and brand partners for quotations, pricing and stock availability.
• Compare quotations, negotiate terms and finalize purchase orders to ensure cost-effective procurement.
• Manage procurement documentation, maintain a supplier database and track purchase orders.
• Follow up on orders, deliveries and invoices to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships and collaborate with IT, Finance and Operations teams.
• Monitor inventory levels and support restocking according to project demands.
• Stay informed about IT market trends, product launches and pricing developments.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of procurement experience in an IT company; UAE experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of IT products, brands and suppliers.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Familiarity with ERP and procurement software.
