Procurement Operations Specialist

About the role

The Specialist – Operation Support leads the procurement function, ensuring timely, cost‑effective, and high‑quality purchasing of materials, equipment, and services for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and supervise a team of buyers, assign tasks, monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Manage the full procurement cycle – sourcing, negotiation, purchase order creation, and contract approval.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and budget requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, evaluate performance and negotiate pricing and service‑level agreements.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, logistics and inventory teams to streamline procurement workflows.
• Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis and supplier performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Minimum 5‑7 years of procurement experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong negotiation, communication and leadership abilities.
• Fluent in English; Arabic preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
