Procurement Specialist – UAE National

About the role

The company is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage the end‑to‑end procurement of materials, equipment and services while ensuring compliance with internal policies and UAE regulations. The role focuses on supplier development, cost optimisation and seamless coordination with internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage procurement of materials, products, equipment, and services.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop suitable suppliers and vendors.
• Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs, obtain competitive quotations and conduct technical/commercial comparisons.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and contractual conditions.
• Prepare and process Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO).
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand procurement requirements and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain supplier databases, contracts, quotations and procurement documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, pricing and delivery commitments.
• Support vendor registration and pre‑qualification processes.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and procurement optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, approval procedures and applicable regulations.
• Prepare procurement reports and track key procurement activities/KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce or a related field.
• Relevant UAE/GCC procurement experience is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or Odoo.
• Good understanding of RFQ, RFP, PR, PO, vendor management and procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
