Product Compliance Officer – Consumer Electronics

About the role

We are hiring a Product Compliance Officer to manage product certification and regulatory compliance for consumer electronics across more than 70 countries, with a focus on GCC and North African markets. The role reports to the Product Compliance Manager and collaborates with global and regional teams to keep products certified, compliant and ready for market.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit certification applications to authorities and certification bodies, and coordinate with accredited labs, government agencies and consultants.
• Track certificate validity, manage renewals and maintain a certification database with expiry tracking and version control.
• Monitor new and revised regulations such as SASO, GCC, ECAS, TRA and assess their impact on current and upcoming products.
• Support market access for new product launches, customs clearance and pre‑shipment inspections.
• Provide compliance summaries and recommendations to management and support internal/external audits, CAPA activities and SOP development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical or Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• 1–3 years of experience in product compliance, certification, regulatory affairs or quality assurance, preferably in consumer electronics.
• Knowledge of SASO, RoHS and IEC/EN standards.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to work on‑site in the UAE.
