Product Owner - Ras Al Khaimah

About the role

Softana, a product development company based in Ras Al Khaimah, is looking for a Product Owner to work on site in the UAE. The role drives product vision and aligns cross-functional tech teams, bridging business objectives with technical execution. The company develops end-to-end web and mobile applications and platforms, integrates software and CRMs, and provides after-launch support.

Key responsibilities

• Backlog and sprint ownership: formulate, refine and prioritise backlog items, define sprint objectives and inspect product increments from design to production.
• Requirement management: gather, verify and maintain functional and non-functional requirements so that Epics, User Stories, Use Cases and Operational Change Requests meet quality standards.
• Define acceptance criteria with stakeholders to set testing baselines for QA.
• Act as the main communicator between development teams and business stakeholders, ensuring transparency and approval of key strategies.
• Take part in quarterly OKR planning, estimate deliverables and keep product roadmaps aligned with business objectives.

Required profile

• At least 3 years in a Product Owner role or a related domain such as Business Analyst or System Analyst.
• Advanced English proficiency and strong conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct management authority.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of Scrum/Agile, product architecture, requirements lifecycle and backlog management.
• Strong grasp of UX principles and product lifecycle processes.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus points: PSPO Level 1 (or equivalent) certification, mobile app product experience, basic coding or UI/UX design background.
