Senior Front-End Engineer - Angular 18

About the role

Softana is a product development company based in Ras Al Khaimah, building end-to-end web and mobile applications and platforms, integrating software with CRMs and other tools, and providing after-launch support. It is looking for a Senior Angular Developer to join its development team and help build and evolve its next-generation platform using Angular 18+ and TypeScript.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize complex front-end applications with Angular and TypeScript
• Ensure code quality, performance and maintainability while working with cross-functional teams
• Develop and maintain a complex platform, writing scalable, testable, high-performing code
• Take part in system testing, validation and documentation
• Lead assigned projects by assigning tasks, coordinating efforts and monitoring performance
• Perform code reviews, give constructive feedback and follow coding standards
• Work with backend engineers, QA and product teams to deliver features
• Stay up to date with Angular and frontend ecosystem trends

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in web development
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Angular 2+ (the company uses Angular 18+)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Fluent English

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in TypeScript
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest
• Experience consuming REST APIs
• SOLID/GRASP principles, client-side architecture and design patterns
• Cross-browser compatibility awareness and performance considerations
• Hands-on experience with Git, npm, Webpack, Babel and linters
• Nice to have: Nx, TypeScript AST and code modifiers, GitLab CI, Docker, NGINX and Node.js
