Product Owner - Web Apps

About the role

Etihad is looking for a Product Owner to deliver customer-facing digital experiences across its website and digital products. The role translates product strategy and customer and business needs into a prioritized backlog and leads day-to-day delivery across key digital journeys such as booking, managing bookings, check-in, ancillaries, servicing and customer accounts, coordinating business, UX, engineering, architecture and analytics teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own and prioritize the backlog against strategy and roadmap, defining features, user stories, functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Align priorities, KPIs and outcomes with Product Managers and lead refinement, taking part in PI Planning and Scrum ceremonies.
• Partner with UX, engineering, architecture and business on scalable experiences and deliver end-to-end website and airline digital journeys.
• Clarify requirements and priorities as the delivery team's product contact, accept functionality against requirements and Definition of Done, and support UAT.
• Manage dependencies, risks and cross-team impacts, escalate blockers, and use feedback, analytics and operational insights to optimize journeys.
• Ensure consistent journeys across channels and platforms, support releases, monitor performance and prioritize defects and improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computing, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, Digital or a related field.
• 5+ years' relevant experience, including 3+ in Product Owner, Digital Product or similar roles.
• Proven delivery of large-scale transactional websites or e-commerce journeys.
• Airline, aviation, travel, hospitality or loyalty experience strongly preferred.
• Analytical, customer-focused, data-led decision-making and excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.

Required skills

• Strong backlog, user story, acceptance criteria and value-based prioritization skills.
• Understanding of APIs, web platforms, CMS, analytics and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on Jira, Confluence, SAFe and Scrum experience.
• CSPO, PSPO or SAFe PO/PM certification advantageous.
