Production Engineer

About the role

The Production Engineer will apply engineering knowledge to solve straightforward production challenges, supporting project delivery through analysis, planning, and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Review project scope, schedules, specifications and prepare detailed Scope of Work and task listings.
• Assess fabrication schedules, drawings for constructability, and identify special items or subcontract requirements.
• Monitor material deliveries, requisitions, and grade/size assumptions, initiating site queries for substitutions when needed.
• Provide field guidance, ensure compliance with company specifications, and attend production meetings to report concerns.
• Track weekly fabrication progress, man‑hours, productivity and coordinate scope changes and revision orders.
• Collaborate with construction engineers, subcontractors, and shop/erection teams to align procedures, material movements, and floor planning with project plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in oil and gas with a major contractor or consultant.
• Familiarity with API RP2A, AISC, and AWS standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
