Production Engineer – Rigless Operations

About the role
The Production Engineer will lead rigless operations, testing and stimulation activities to optimise oil and gas producing wells, as well as water and gas injection wells. The role provides technical support to field operations and ensures efficient hydrocarbon production and injection processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and supervise programs for rigless operations, perforation, kick‑off, stimulation and well testing.
- Coordinate testing operations, interpret preliminary results and verify contractor reports.
- Supervise wireline work, production logging and down‑hole equipment testing.
- Monitor performance of oil/gas producing, water and gas injection wells and diagnose well problems.
- Recommend and justify workovers, review water‑injection cluster performance and evaluate production equipment.
- Participate in technical studies on water/gas injection, artificial lift and facilities optimisation.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of well history, production and injection statistics.
- Develop operating, reporting and recording procedures for production and injection performance.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in petroleum engineering, including rigless operations and well testing.
