Production In‑Charge – Fire Rated Steel Doors

About the role

We are looking for a Production In‑Charge to lead the manufacturing of fire‑rated steel doors at our Dubai workshop. You will be responsible for planning, organising and supervising the full production process to meet quality, safety and delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise fire‑rated steel door production, ensuring targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are met.
• Coordinate daily workshop activities including cutting, welding, assembly, glazing, hardware fitting, painting and final inspection.
• Allocate resources, prepare daily/weekly production schedules and monitor progress.
• Ensure doors meet required fire ratings, standards and client specifications.
• Inspect incoming materials, raise non‑conformance reports and conduct quality control at key stages.
• Supervise, train and coach staff while promoting safe working practices.
• Manage equipment, tooling and consumables, coordinating maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, procurement and logistics to resolve issues.
• Prepare production reports covering output, scrap, rework, manpower utilisation and schedule progress.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase productivity, reduce waste and enhance quality.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or production supervision, preferably in steel doors or metal fabrication.
• Strong leadership, communication and team‑management abilities.
• Practical problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Valid UAE driving licence preferred and willingness to work additional hours or visit sites.
