Production Supervisor

About the role

Faham, a UAE-based manufacturer of doors, closets and furniture with in-house design and production, is hiring a full-time, on-site Production Supervisor in Dubai. The supervisor oversees daily production operations in the manufacturing facilities, supervising production teams, assigning tasks and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage production schedules, coordinate resources and monitor workflow to meet delivery timelines and optimise output.
• Supervise production teams, assign tasks and ensure safe, efficient work meeting quality standards.
• Track production metrics and identify process improvements.
• Collaborate with design and quality teams and ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
• Communicate closely with management and cross-functional departments to resolve operational issues and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Strong supervisory skills, including team leadership, performance monitoring and coaching.
• Experience in production planning and managing production schedules to meet targets and deadlines.
• Proficiency in production management, resource allocation, workflow optimisation and adherence to quality standards.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, reporting to management and guiding production staff.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, joinery, furniture or related production environments is highly beneficial.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, quality control practices and lean or continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing or a related field preferred.

Required skills

• Ability to use production planning or ERP software and basic MS Office tools.
