Production/Factory Manager – Wood Joinery

About the role

The Production/Factory Manager will lead the entire production process at Royal Wood Factory, ensuring timely delivery of high‑quality wood products and fit‑out solutions for high‑profile projects. This role combines strategic planning, resource optimisation, and team leadership within a specialised joinery environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules aligned with customer orders and project deadlines.
• Allocate manpower, machinery and equipment efficiently to maximise output.
• Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure products meet established standards.
• Control production costs, identify savings and apply efficient production methods.
• Lead, train and motivate production teams, fostering a safe and positive work environment.
• Continuously improve processes to boost productivity and streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods.
• Generate production reports and performance metrics for management review.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in a joinery or wood‑working production environment.
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale production operations and lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of health and safety standards in a manufacturing setting.
