Professor – Aerospace Engineering

About the role

The university is seeking a Professor of Aerospace Engineering to join its faculty. The position blends undergraduate and graduate teaching, research activities, and service to the academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in aerospace engineering, preparing syllabi, lesson plans, and instructional materials.
• Assess student performance through exams, assignments, labs, and provide remedial support when needed.
• Supervise student research projects, theses, and practical internships.
• Develop and continuously improve the curriculum to maintain high academic standards.
• Conduct research, publish findings, present at conferences, and seek external funding.
• Participate in departmental, faculty, and university committees and contribute to community outreach.
• Engage in peer‑review activities and collaborate with internal and external partners on research and consultancy.
• Contribute to student recruitment, retention, and placement initiatives.
• Adhere to university information security and confidentiality policies.
