Physical Education Teacher (Female Primary Specialist)

About the role

Yasmina British Academy is seeking an outstanding Female Primary Specialist in Physical Education to join its team in Abu Dhabi, starting January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day running of the PE department, including administration, displays and lesson support.
• Monitor and maintain PE equipment and storage, and help create lesson resources.
• Contribute to the school’s extensive sports squads, particularly football, basketball or athletics.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging PE lessons that meet curriculum and assessment standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field with a teaching qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching PE at specialist level (GCSE/A Level) – desirable but not essential.
• Passion for sport and commitment to the whole‑child approach.
• Ability to work with students for whom English is not a first language.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of volleyball, basketball and athletics.
• Experience delivering Edexcel GCSE and A Level PE.
• Coaching and leading high‑level sports teams.
