Program Manager II – ACES (Customer Excellence Systems)

About the role

Amazon is seeking a motivated Program Manager II to join the ACES (Amazon Customer Excellence Systems) team within its AMET operations. The role focuses on optimizing OTR and UTR operations in last‑mile delivery stations, driving capacity enhancements and utilization improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive RUBL60 and Sort Grid utilization metrics across the MEATR region.
• Invent and implement solutions to complex business problems and provide supporting tools for Central Ops.
• Build mechanisms to monitor RUBL60 and bag utilization metrics daily, identifying root causes and corrective actions.
• Analyze trends and unusual behaviors in utilization metrics and deliver sustainable guidance.
• Leverage route‑planning metrics to pinpoint improvement areas and collaborate with Tech/Science teams to enhance routing systems.
• Influence Route Planning teams to develop fair, sustainable, and efficient delivery routes that maximize time utilization without overburdening drivers.

Required profile

• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• 3+ years working cross‑functionally with technical and non‑technical teams.
• 3+ years defining and implementing process‑improvement initiatives using data and metrics.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and create urgency.
• Comfort with ambiguity and designing products/programs with limited information.
