Project Architect – Design & BIM Lead

About the role

Blue Bahar Engineering is seeking a self‑motivated Project Architect to lead design initiatives from concept through construction. The role is office‑based in Dubai and focuses on delivering high‑quality architectural solutions while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present design concepts, producing detailed drawings and construction documents.
• Lead design assignments, collaborate with project teams, and ensure compliance with local Green Building regulations.
• Prepare tender and construction documentation, manage BIM models using Revit Architecture.
• Coordinate technical reviews and authority approvals at all project stages.
• Organise project meetings, track progress, and maintain project records such as minutes and correspondence.
• Allocate tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure deliverables meet quality standards and deadlines.
• Continuously update knowledge of local codes, international standards, and sustainable design practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
• 5–7 years of architectural experience, with at least 4 years in the UAE.
• Background in reputable design consultancies rather than contractors.
• Strong understanding of local design guidelines, codes, and green building standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Revit Architecture) and BIM workflows.
• Competence with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Primavera.
• Ability to produce detailed construction drawings and tender packages.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills for multi‑disciplinary teams.
