Project Construction Manager - Logistics & Industrial Projects

About the role

The Project Construction Manager delivers logistics and industrial construction projects in the UAE, acting as the client-side key on-site representative and coordination lead. The role covers end-to-end delivery from mobilization to handover, with strong experience in multi-contract delivery, regulatory compliance, cost and schedule control, and close coordination with overseas technical, cost and procurement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary local construction lead and point of contact for contractors, consultants, authorities and internal stakeholders
• Coordinate design, procurement, construction and handover, and manage construction, technical, regulatory, cost and schedule risks
• Ensure compliance with UAE Building Codes, the UAE Fire & Life Safety Code and relevant international standards
• Adapt overseas technical and cost-optimization solutions to UAE regulations, local standards and market availability
• Coordinate with overseas technical, cost and procurement teams, and with local designers and consultants
• Support procurement through market research, supplier sourcing and technical evaluations, and ensure timely delivery of long-lead items
• Supervise construction works, quality, HSE compliance and schedule adherence
• Manage interface risks across split contracts and multiple subcontractors, including interface matrices, sequencing plans and a live risk register
• Produce regular progress, cost and risk reports, resolve issues and capture lessons learned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline
• Minimum 8-12 years of project or construction management experience in the UAE
• Experience with leading local developers or EPC contractors as client-side project manager or core PM team member
• Experience with multiple prime or split contract delivery and complex contractor interfaces
• Solid knowledge of UAE construction laws, approval procedures and the Fire & Life Safety Code
• Experience in industrial plants, logistics warehouses, distribution centers or similar large-scale projects
• Fluent English; experience coordinating overseas and local teams is highly preferred
• Registration or eligibility for registration with Dubai Municipality is preferred
