Project Engineer – 6‑Month Contract

About the role

We are looking for an organized and proactive Project Engineer to join our UAE manufacturing facility on a six‑month contract, with the possibility of extension. The role bridges technical project engineering, daily operations management, and indirect procurement, supporting leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and report on CAPEX, automation, continuous‑improvement and other operational projects, tracking milestones, budgets and deliverables.
• Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration among Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance and HR, and prepare executive status updates and KPI dashboards.
• Provide high‑level administrative support to Operations leadership, including calendar management, travel arrangements and preparation of reports and presentations.
• Support indirect procurement by creating purchase requisitions, monitoring quotations, purchase orders and inventory levels of PPE and consumables.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in project coordination or operations within a manufacturing or heavy‑operations environment.
• Proven ability to handle multiple fast‑moving projects independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Familiarity with purchase‑order processes, vendor coordination and compliance requirements.
