Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will apply mechanical and electrical engineering expertise to plan, coordinate, and deliver complex projects for Ecolab’s water, hygiene and infection‑prevention solutions. You will work closely with business units, vendors, and internal teams to ensure projects meet cost, schedule, safety and quality objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate new and existing projects across all business units.
• Manage site projects within approved budgets and timelines.
• Collaborate with vendors to achieve the highest quality deliverables.
• Repair and troubleshoot standard Ecolab equipment such as Next Gen 3D Trasar, Purate Generators and polymer dosing skids.
• Prepare budgetary cost estimates for new projects and equipment.
• Support feasibility studies, manpower and cost estimations.
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, national and corporate safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
• Assist in developing and integrating manufacturing processes for new or revised products.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electronics & Electrical Engineering.
• 5‑6 years of experience in district cooling, chemical, food, industrial processes, iron & steel, aluminium smelting, mining or paper industries.
• Proven ability to manage projects from concept to completion while controlling cost and schedule.
