Project Management Expert – Public Facilities (Emirati)

About the role

The Project Management Expert will provide technical advice and expertise on all project‑related matters within the City Beautification and Public Projects Department. The role involves preparing studies on sustainable construction systems, developing regulations and standards, and ensuring continuous alignment with departmental plans.

Key responsibilities

• Set project strategy and work plans, identifying needs for design and execution.
• Conduct value‑engineering studies and issue recommendations.
• Research future trends and best practices in sustainable construction technologies and finishing materials.
• Develop and periodically update technical systems, regulations, specifications, standards, and work procedures.
• Unify and classify technical references and engineering specifications in line with global best practices.
• Review and comment on contractual claims and change orders for complex projects.
• Prepare memoranda and case files for lawsuits involving contractors or consultants.
• Prepare award applications and represent the entity at local and regional conferences and seminars.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong expertise in project management, cost calculation, and performance evaluation.
• Emirati nationality.
