Project Manager - AI & Automation

About the role

The Project Manager - AI & Automation leads end-to-end delivery of projects that use content management, process automation, machine learning and advanced analytics to transform businesses for clients. The role combines technical understanding, business acumen and project delivery discipline, working closely with clients, solution architects, data scientists and automation engineers. Remote work is also available.

Key responsibilities

• Define objectives, scope, deliverables and success criteria, prepare charters, resource plans and cost estimates, and set up risk, governance and communication arrangements
• Manage the full lifecycle of RPA deployments, AI model development and integration, and intelligent document processing projects
• Coordinate business analysts, data engineers, automation developers and QA, keeping to SLAs and quality standards
• Act as main client contact, explain technical solutions in business terms, run steering committee meetings and manage expectations
• Control budgets, track change requests and billing milestones, and ensure contractual compliance
• Ensure compliance with architecture, security and compliance standards, implement documentation templates, and run UAT, deployment checks and post-implementation reviews
• Mentor junior project managers and work with the Center of Excellence for Automation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field; Master's or MBA preferred
• PMP, PRINCE2 or Agile/Scrum Master certification; RPA certifications (UiPath, Power Automate, Automation Anywhere) are a strong plus
• 7+ years in IT project management, including 3+ years in AI, RPA or automation delivery
• Proven experience delivering enterprise automation programs in banking, government, insurance or utilities, and managing vendor partnerships on AI/Automation platforms
• Fluent English, Arabic preferred; UAE driving licence preferred
