Project Manager – Boatbuilding (RHIBs)

About the role

RIBCRAFT Boat Building LLC in Abu Dhabi is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead end‑to‑end delivery of RHIB and composite boatbuilding contracts in the UAE. The role combines technical expertise in composite vessel construction with full project lifecycle management.

Key responsibilities

• Overall project and contract management of RIBCRAFT boatbuilding contracts executed in the UAE.
• Manage schedules, manpower and material resources to meet contractual specifications and quality standards.
• Develop and control project budgets, monitor expenditures and implement cost‑control measures.
• Produce weekly and monthly progress, schedule compliance and cost reports.
• Coordinate with engineering, production and quality teams to ensure technical compliance, including classification and certification requirements.
• Maintain communication with clients, subcontractors, OEMs, surveyors and classification authorities.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, production constraints and potential delays, applying corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in project engineering/management within shipbuilding or boatbuilding, with at least 5 years in the GCC (preferably UAE).
• Proven technical and production experience on composite boats or rigid‑hull inflatable boats, including knowledge of class certification.
• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
