Project Manager (Bridges & Roads)

About the role

Gulf Contractors Company (GCC) is seeking a senior Project Manager with extensive experience in bridge and road infrastructure to lead large‑scale civil works in Abu Dhabi. The role involves full‑cycle management from concept through construction, ensuring safety, quality, and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee execution of roads, bridges, and utility networks, delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources and implement corrective actions to maintain progress.
• Lead cross‑functional teams, subcontractors and on‑site activities to achieve quality and efficiency targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements and obtain Abu Dhabi authority approvals.
• Identify, assess and resolve project risks and technical issues promptly.
• Prepare regular reports and maintain clear communication with senior management and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• At least 20 years of experience delivering bridge and road infrastructure projects.
• Proven track record of managing complex civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Strong leadership, organizational and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
• Demonstrated experience working with Abu Dhabi authorities on infrastructure projects.
