Project Manager – Deep Gravity Sewer Network

About the role

White Star Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the Deep Gravity Sewer Network project in Dubai. The role involves overseeing all aspects of civil infrastructure construction, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Process change orders, maintain profit/loss accountability, and present cost implications to owners.
• Prepare and submit regular billings to ensure prompt client payment.
• Review daily timesheets, manage job cost reporting, and control budgets.
• Create and update detailed project schedules, including ten‑day and weekly plans.
• Order and allocate material resources, monitor self‑performed work, and coordinate all field resources.
• Analyze delays, resolve disputes and claims, and manage project risk.
• Interpret owner drawings and specifications, ensuring subcontractors understand requirements.
• Enforce equal employment opportunity, safety, and preventive maintenance policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in civil construction project management, particularly sewer, drainage, and road works.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to manage budgets, cost reporting, and change‑order processes.
• Excellent analytical skills for delay analysis, risk management, and dispute resolution.
