Project Manager – Electrical System Integration

About the role

The Project Manager will independently lead a project team to plan, execute, monitor and deliver electrical system integration projects, including relay & control panels, low‑voltage switchgear, protection systems and automation equipment. The role ensures safe, on‑time, on‑budget delivery while meeting quality, contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end execution of multiple projects from contract award through commissioning and handover.
• Develop schedules, resource plans, budgets and execution strategies, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions.
• Coordinate engineering activities for relay panels, LV switchgear, protection schemes and system integration.
• Manage procurement of long‑lead electrical equipment and monitor manufacturing progress.
• Serve as primary customer contact, conduct kick‑off, progress and close‑out meetings, and provide regular status reports.
• Oversee installation, testing, FAT/SAT, commissioning and energisation activities.
• Track project budgets, invoicing, cash flow and profitability, handling variations and change orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Project Management certification (PMP) preferred.
• 10–12 years of experience managing EPC, industrial, utility or substation projects.
• 5–8 years of project management experience in electrical panel manufacturing, especially utilities or oil & gas.
• Strong knowledge of IEC, IEEE and local utility standards.
